Contractors mobilized for the construction of Mbamar Dam and the one for the backfilling of Mchila bridge and sand filling of the Shaana, Mbalom road by Hon. Arc. Asema Achado have commenced work at the Dam in Gari, Mbamar and Mbalom road at Shaana all in Gwer East Local Government Area.
The Site Engineer handling the Dam Construction work in Mbamar, who has moved with his workforce and machinery, Engr. Dr. Yala Iorliam from JS Tarkaa University in his remarks noted that excavation work has since commenced over the past few days after a series of site clearing took place before the commencement of the scooping work. While appreciating the reception enjoyed by the host community so far, Iorliam noted that work will be sustained in top gear until it is completed as planned.
Also at Shaana-Mbalom road, Engineer Shehu Akov Emmanuel stated that work is progressing steadily at the Mchila bridge at Shaana Gwer East Local
